How to actually get a job

It is our experience that getting a great job has minimal correlation to the number of resumes submitted, follow-up phone calls made, or interviews. Finding a job or finding a good employee is a “human thing” and as much as we love the power of tech, we have to admit that the importance of a personal connection cannot be overstated.

If you want to post your resume or find a great employee, there are sites for that and we’ve included links to those on this page. Good luck.

If you want to actually find a job quickly, we suggest you contact the people that do that professionally and are our working partners with COSIT. See our links to the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, TEKSystems, RobertHalf, etc.

A Different Approach

If you want to post your resume or find a great employee, there are sites for that. These are very general and don’t always work well.

  • Monster.com
  • Indeed.com
  • CareerBuilder.com

We needed a better solution.

If you want to actually find a job quickly, we’ll connect you with COSIT’s working partners who connect and hire people professionally.

Really want to stand out?

If you or your organization attends one of our job fairs, you can meet the rest of the best tech-focused employers and employees in the entire Colorado Springs area in person.

COSIT partners have over 1500 open positions with an average salary around $84,000.

Join us.

At our job fairs you will meet face-to-face with companies, hiring managers, and peers that have been looking for you with the same excitement you’ve been looking for them.

Let’s drive Colorado Springs unemployment even lower than the current 4.1% by making the personal, human connections that help our tech community thrive.
